Just about every evening at 5:30 pm or 6 pm, I walk a couple miles around the neighborhood for exercise with four of my neighbors, or whoever can make it. We often have the right timing to see the magnificent sunsets around Diamond Head in the distance. One evening we received free tickets from another neighbor and all went to see the stage production at Diamond Head Theater called "White Christmas." It was a fun musical with 30 talented performers. It's based on the 1954 movie with Bing Crosby, Rosemary Cloney and Danny Kaye. We all sang Irving Berlin's White Christmas at the end and real flaky snow fell from the rafters. The newspaper said it was bubbles, but I don't believe so. The flat flakes were cold and dissolved on touching the skin. It was snow! It was snow! Here are photos of the Winter Walkers just back from White Christmas: (L to R) Diane, Margaret, Donna, / and in the bottom photo Linda on the right:

I'm glad that you liked the show. After talking to friends that have seen the show, they all have said that the snow factor felt like real snow. For those that were from the mainland, it missed the snow more! Happy Holidays!
